French Couscous


Couscous is a coarsely ground semolina pasta made from the hard part of the wheat. It makes an excellent side dish instead of rice. It tasts great when mixed with other herbs, meats, or fish.

Cooking Instructions: 1. Boil 1-1/4 cups of water, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of butter in a saucepan; 2. Stir in 1 cup of couscous; 3. Cover and remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes.

great couscous

This stuff fluffs up perfectly and has terrific texture, the grains stay separate. Has a very faintly nutty flavor. Goes well with everything we've cooked with it.

True peanuts!

I grew up coming to the shop for peanuts and candy. I have since moved away, but had a taste for REAL peanuts. Once you have these you realize those other brands aren’t selling you top quality peanuts! Also thanks for getting me my taste of philly so quickly (and I love the packaging!)
