Peanuts In Shell Dark Roast

I had a problem with an order and the problem was cleared up real fast. I had no hard feelings towards Nuts To You. They are my favorite Nut Store. I love the staff and nuts this is the only place I can find what I need.

I found this company after doing a search for “dark roast” peanuts. I initially tried their “Double Dark Roast” first. Those were just a tad *too* dark for my taste, so I then tried the regular “dark roast”. The ones that actually *are* roasted dark taste great, but… the problem is that the product is extremely inconsistent. Even on the best bags, the Dark Roast is only about 60% dark roast, and the remainder are just regular (pale) roasted peanuts. Today’s bag, I have had about 25-30 peanuts (so far) and all (but one) have been extremely pale, almost white. I have contacted them a couple times in the past and they have been kind enough to credit me for more peanuts, but sadly, the problem(s) persist. They were understanding and apologetic, and happy to try to make things right, and I commend them for that, but the bottom line is I am almost done trying to order them since I never know what will be in each bag. I can order “regular roast” from hundreds of other places, I am looking for there to be better consistency and quality control. When it’s right, they are great! I am not trying to bash the product, just the ability do deliver it correctly consistently.

A few months ago I ordered 4 lbs of light roasted. When I received a 4lb bag of peanuts my brother n law was envious of my humongous bag of peanuts. So when it was time to make a order he made sure I put in a 4 lb bag of dark roasted peanuts. He is happily enjoying his peanuts at this moment.

No complaints only that I think I prefer the medium roast after trying three different roasts.
